Carp Fishing – Using a Hi Sport Bait Boat

We’re going to try to educate our fishing members here in the U.S.A. about Bait Boats. They’ve been using them a long time overseas to improve the chances of landing more Carp. A Bait Boat is a simple concept, really. A bait boat is just a remote control boat, with a few added features. Can’t I just go to Walmart and pick me up a rc boat, you might ask? Well, no, here’s why. The concept of the bait boat is simple, Take advantage of the range and precision of the remote control boat to deliver fish food, more commonly known to us as Chum to a specific spot to attract the Carp. The part about chumming the fish has been tried many ways throughout history, but until the Bait Boat came along it was never as efficient.

Very Expensive, Try a $79.00 one from Fish Fun Co. instead.

    @madhippy2 The boat getting snaffled by a Big Cat is a scary thought !!

    @MrFlench

    These baitboats are perfect for catfishing on the Ebro in Spain. Keep them pellets going in, and get your rig in the main channel. Trouble is, one of the biggies may come up and try taking the damn boat!

  4. jabram1 says:

    @rocketman4281 It is pre-soaked & cooked. Check out the website for the recipe if you like it.

  5. jabram1 says:

    @dhudson369 This boat has a hook release system on the back so you can put your rig out both ways.

  6. dhudson369 says:

    why didnt you put the hook bait and lead etc in the bait boat from underneath then you know its going to be where all the bait is just take your bail arm off and let it go out with the the boat put in from underneath

  7. rocketman4281 says:

    @jabram1 In your cracked corn method mix, do you soak and boil the cracked corn or do you use it unprepared right off the shelf?

  8. jabram1 says:

    @MrFlench Yes you do carry your rig out with the boat.

  9. MrFlench says:

    I want one to catfish with . Do yo carry your line out with the bat and drop your hook too ? I can’t cast that far and would like for it to carry my hook out and drop it with the bait . Oh, and where can i get one or get the plans ?

    @CarpMagic95 u very good explaining that, i hav been fishing for 10 years and i never knew thair was such a thing lol

  23. khmerkrazie says:

    @JuggaloSebastain
    well theres crazy people out there that does stupid things

  24. CarpMagic95 says:

    @JuggaloSebastain I know your questions a year old but work it out… Imagine fishing at 100 to 150 yards? or imagine fishing in real tight spaces right underneath trees that hang over the water, these places are VERY hard to get bait to where your rig is. Secondly the boat ensures free bait is directly on your bait everytime without fail and it helps with long distance or hard casts cos you dont need to cast, I dont need one or use one but your comments silly. They have uses to those who need.

  25. jabram1 says:

    @fpsgarm I hope that’s what the carp think…
