Homemade Carp Baits Made Using Potent Liquids and Ingredients In Your Kitchen!

Everyone wants cheaper ways to go fishing and saving money on bait is a massively important thing to anglers these days. You might think homemade kitchen made baits are ineffective, but guess what, the majority of commercial bait recipes first began in the kitchen. Read on now and save yourself a fortune as well as improve your catches for life!

Encouraging attractively-stimulating substances in your baits to leach out makes all the difference to your catches and the more easily and better they are able to hydrate and become more soluble they are the better!

You might immediately assume that cake-making flavours are the limit kitchen liquids to exploit in baits, but you can introduce loads of feeding triggers, attractors, enhancers and sweeteners in liquid forms! You can turn a vast range of dry kitchen food items into very useful liquids, by mixing them with warm water, or a condiment with a powder, or by liquidising an individual food or mixing a selection of things together.

Here’s a few examples I have found in my kitchen put to good use to make dips, soaks, etc used in particle and sea food preparation and in homemade paste, boilie pellet-making and in boosting a few readymade boilie base mixes, homemade and readymade ground baits, stick mixes, spod mixes, method mixes, flavouring maggots etc:

Marmite (or other types of yeast extract that are cheaper!)

Smooth peanut butter.

Tomato puree and Ketchups etc.

Worcester source.

Belachan.

Parmesan cheese.

Sea salt.

Horlicks drink.

Nesquick milk shakes.

Jellies.

Ice creams.

Chocolate powder.

Fresh crushed and powdered black pepper.

Herbs and spices and not just chilli pepper powders of which there are many forms!

Raspberry puree.

Jams and marmalades.

Creamed and concentrated soups.

Sugars; Demerara is superior to cheap white!

Condensed and evaporated milks.

Powdered milks.

Liquidised vegetables and fruits mixtures such as blueberries, and red peppers.

Fructose (fruit sugar.)

Garlic and onion powders.

Crab spread.

Liver pate.

Liquidised liver.

There are loads more things – with all kinds of useful impacts on fish senses and physiology etc to induce the behaviours and modes of feeding that you really want!

Including dye your dips and your baits will produce a plume of attractive attractor and feeding trigger-rich cloud in the water – if you make them right and keep them highly soluble so they break down easily for this effect! Liquidised sea foods for instance liquidised mussels, prawn, even tinned shrimps, cockles, tuna, crab, frozen squid etc (but use fresh not preserved whenever possible!) Concentrated fruit and herbal teas such a super fruits, vanilla and acai and ginseng, liqorice and Echinacea containing versions with only potent natural flavours and bioactives!

Many kitchen food items come from super markets but online stores, health stores etc. Modern cake-making flavours are totally different now; more naturally-orientated these days! But when it comes to buying from the shop or supermarket think about how you can seriously maximise the impacts of the essential nutritional attractions and bioactives within those foods; and study the labels very carefully for it reaps massive benefits and rewards – for you personally and in terms of your fish captures! (For example I recommend using sea salt with CC Moore concentrated garlic plus their unique ‘Cyprivit’ vitamin supplement – instead of garlic salt!)

Even the most innocent seemingly simple kitchen bait soak or dip can be extremely complex! For example, something like this: Marmite and molasses, fructose, a bit of instant coffee, plus liquidised pilchards in tomato source with liver pate and flaked crab with liquidised mussels carries an awesome array of feeding triggers, attractors and loads of special factors that fish really respond to internally instantly and longer-term.

You can use liquid from canned pulses, peas and beans, used with juices and oils from tinned fish etc, even to form a milky lactose-rich bait soak from certain lactose-laced breakfast cereals.

But of course seriously effective homemade bait making is about basing your efforts on knowledge of fish. This is paramount and without this detailed knowledge you are really guessing and hoping. Sure bait making is about feedback from catches in order to refine and fine-tune, but you need to know your fish in the beginning to really get the bigger picture about what you are trying to do so you begin to truly understand the power of baits over fish on a whole spectrum of levels and impacts, both instantly and over the long-term.

It is not merely what you use, how much you use, what you combine with what and why. It can be very simple indeed to make an effective bait using just 2 materials and a liquid – but it is in the knowing the reasons why you chose those specific things and why you combine them that is really powerful and exciting. But bait making is so much more profound than it might first appear.

When you have this knowledge and detailed information you can adapt and improve (and out-compete) endless readymade boilies, pellets, and also ready-prepared particle baits such as hemp and tiger nuts and even sea foods like mussels, cockles and prawn, and live foods like maggots too – and even boost fake baits like plastic sweetcorn!

You just need to find out how to do this so you can do it all yourself and save a fortune and reap the big rewards in improved fish catches for life; because knowledge really is for life! Homemade Carp Boilies Made Using Nut Fishing Bait Recipes For Big Fish!

Nut, seed and pulse baits for carp have always been outstanding. With so many carp anglers using marine, fish, and meat based baits today, being different represents a massive competitive advantage – so try out some seriously potent, habit-forming nut based homemade baits and recipes instead! Read on to discover more about how to drive your carp wild right and boost your catches big-time right now!

One of the simplest ways to make a nut bait is to buy a readymade semolina and soya base mix (or make this yourself for less money,) and add your nut ingredients and additives to this. Two of the most well proven carp bait nut ingredients are tiger nut meal and roasted peanut meal (technically tiger nuts are not actually nuts but nut sedge tubers.) The options for making endless forms of unique nut baits are very exciting, and offer many varied effects, special nutritional properties and other beneficial characteristics.

You could perhaps try beginning by using any homemade bait base mix with around 50 percent or more of nut ingredients. One of the greatest edges of incorporating tiger nut meals etc into your base mixes is not merely the sugars and oils or carbohydrate content, but the powerful digestion-boosting impacts of its unique fibre. In the case of peanuts, and almonds for instances it is the alkaloids content that make them even more habit-forming.

Walnuts and other nuts such as macadamia nuts, hazelnuts, and pistachio nuts need using too – these have potent lipids and some particularly stimulating bioactive factors few anglers will ever have realised they contain! Ground nut oil is one of the cheapest essential sources of omega oils you can find in the supermarket – maybe try it mixed with toasted sesame seed oil and hemp oil or walnut oil for instance!

You can save a fortune and make a basic soya flour and semolina base mix with your nut ingredients plus eggs to help binding. Or perhaps add additional CLO, egg albumin and whey gel, or even add just little wheat gluten for instance for a practical binding bait. Of course for those wishing for a more nutritious and more digestible bait, very many options and combinations are possible to create a bait totally unique to yourself. For example, with the addition of Vitamealo, sodium or calcium caseinate, lactalbumin or whey protein concentrate, soya isolate, caseins, enzyme-treated yeast, corn steep liquor powder, various pre-digested fish proteins and so on.

The CC Moore bird food ingredients including Sweet Meggablend and Meggablend Red, the gritty maize protein product Supergold 60 (60 percent digestible protein and nutritionally good enough to replace fish meals,) are just a sample of excellent ideal additions to nut based baits. But you can turn your bait into a really unusual one by combining many various nutritionally valuable and very attractive ingredients. For example using crushed tiger nuts, tiger nut flour and crushed hemp and adding krill meal, spirulina powder, bloodworm extract and tuna oil for instance.

If you want to cut your costs you can use maize meal or maize flour for up to half your bait to bulk it up. Carp love maize all year round even in winter, despite it not being the most nutritional nor digestible ingredient for cheap bulking up; it simply works! (It does naturally contain betaine and other bioactive antioxidants among other important factors.) I find using maize meal in combination with full fat semolina produces a bait that is easier to roll if cost is really an issue, however I would very much prefer to use highly nutritionally attractive ingredients which contain far more feed-triggering substance reasons to turn carp on!

Popular examples are Belachan, fish meals, krill and shrimp powders, calcium and sodium caseinates and blood powder, lactalbumin and whey protein concentrate. Egg albumin is a great highly nutritional binder and is often used in a fifty percent combination with whey gel. Wheat gluten is a another well proven binder where bait digestibility is less important. The milk powder products Vitamealo and Lamlac are very useful in aiding binding and soya isolate is another high-protein ingredient I have found really works well functionally in baits, from over decades of homemade bait making.

CC Moore pre-ground CLO is an attractive bird food based binder with a great track record which is ideal for economical absolutely top quality trustworthy very effective homemade mixes; you can include perhaps 8 ounces per pound of dry mix. If you use semolina it is a good idea to use only up to 7 ounces per pound of dry mix and ensure you improve the nutritional attraction of the bait intrinsically by adding some choice additives and ingredients, such as Robin Red, corn steep liquor powder, vanilla extract meal, molasses meal, CC Moore dried insect meal and shrimp type products for instance.

To make your nut baits compete effectively and even out-fish the best ready made baits you need more than this in your arsenal of knowledge. Fish Bait Recipes – How to Mix Your Own Bait

    Cured Salmon Eggs

If you are fishing for large game fish, cured salmon eggs are the ideal bait. Largemouth bass, muskellunge, salmon, and other large fish species love them.

Here’s how to cure salmon eggs to use as bait:

    1. Withdraw the eggs from a salmon you are cleaning, keeping the egg sacs intact.

    2. Cover a large, flat, moveable surface with 1/4 inch of borax.

    3. Cut the egg sacs across the membrane in slits of 3 to 4 inches.

    4. Lay the egg sac sections 1 inch apart on top of the borax.

    5. Scatter more borax over the top to produce a light coating.

    6. Be sure all egg sacs are covered.

    7. Move the large mobile surface that the eggs are on to a protected area with good circulation all around.

    8. The eggs must not be in direct sunlight and cannot get moist.

    9. Allow the sacs to dry for 2 to 3 days, turning them every 12 hours.

    10. Pick the egg sacs out of the borax and shake off any excess.

    11. Place them in plastic bags or storage containers.

The egg sacs are ready to use when they are completely dry and leatherlike, but pliable. If properly cured, they can be kept in their containers until your next fishing trip.

    Cheese Bait

Cheese bait can be utilized to catch catfish, chub, and carp. In fact, carp especially love cheese bait. So if you’re seeking to catch any of these species or a huge carp that’s been hanging around your fishing hole, here’s how to construct your own cheese bait:

    1. Use 10 ounces of pie pastry and roll it flat on a chopping board or counter top.

    2. Smear the pastry with aged cheddar flavor.

    3. Add 6 ounces of grated cured cheddar cheese and 4 ounces of Danish blue cheese, crumbled to fine grains.

    4. Fold the pastry over the cheese, so it is entirely covered and roll out.

    5. Repeat this process until the pie pastry and the cheese are thoroughly mixed and the cheese is absorbed by the pastry.

    6. Form the paste into a big ball and knead by hand.

    7. Add 10 drops of the mature cheddar flavoring to a freezer bag and place the cheese paste ball into the bag.

    8. Place the bag into the freezer.

When thawed, this bait has an appealing consistency and texture, and a very powerful odor. Roll the thawed paste into small balls and place them into a container for your next excursion.

When you place a cheese ball onto your hook, adjust the hook’s point into the center, cast and wait patiently for the fish to bite. Your wait should be short and the catch satisfying.

HOMEMADE CARP BOILIE MAKING SECRETS and Recipes for Big Fish Success!

Making homemade boilies for really outstanding big fishing success is far more than just about mere recipes, ingredients or flavours etc. Carp boilies are made by commercial bait makers and homemade bait makers alike, but the best baits are head and shoulders above the rest; so find out how to make them now!

The best baits are all about gaining the bigger picture and understanding what works best and knowing why this is, so you can maximise this knowledge to maximum effect every time you go fishing, and exploit it at every opportunity. You can even create your very own amazing big fish catching opportunities to keep ahead of the crowd. So read on now for details for beginners and more seasoned bait makers alike. These top tips, and practical insights born of hard experiences will make a genuinely big difference to your catches!

Make your boilies without using eggs and use other forms of protein-rich ingredients and additives that do not seal baits so much that they are massively reduced in their potential effectiveness and truly work from the centre outwards!

Make your boilies without boiling them and steam them fast instead. For example only steam them for just 20 seconds. Or alternatively you can design your boilies so they are resilient baits, but used and applied with the absolute minimum of heating!

Make your boilies with no heating whatsoever so they last up to 20 hours or more intact, without being sealed by any heating coagulation of protein-rich ingredients and additives etc! Although these baits might appear as pastes, they will last like boilies and this is a key skill area that I have developed and value hugely in my own homemade bait-making and fishing approaches!

Make your baits with different and unique materials to those that your fish are used to! (In part note that this means avoid simply copying your celebrity heroes from the magazines and actually thinking for yourself more and more so you come to regard them as no better than anyone else!)

Use bait materials that offer different nutrition and bioactive factors to what fish are offered by the majority of anglers on your water.

If there is a currently dominant boilie on your water think about the reason that this is so! Consider the fact that essential nutritional requirements and bait taste specifics and very many bioactive and other factors in homemade baits of your own design can be harnessed in your own unique baits to out-fish the masses on the popular commercial baits; buck the trend and be a trend-setter for a change and be different!

Make sure your baits are unique in the way that fish experience them in multiple ways through all their sensory systems and more familiar and more obvious fish senses. Homemade baits can easily out-fish popular readymade baits just due to being unique and different when designed with thought.

Try making homemade baits that have unusual surface textures and internal textures that readymade baits rolled and pressed by machine cannot produce!

Make unusual oddly-shaped baits that commercial bait machines cannot produce!

Source additives, enhancers, extracts, ingredients, liquids and so on that you know will never have been experienced by your fish ever before. This is far easier than you might think if you just give it a go!

Try making your boilies and pellets of multiple different sizes.

Try making your baits different colours and shades!

Try combining mixing 2 bait recipes in dough form together just prior to forming your baits to break up the outline and shape of your baits visually.

Try making baits that do not have common colouration, such as black or green or grey or blue, instead of the brown, red, pink, orange, yellow and white and even purple colours and shades etc that wary fish are so used to avoiding these days!

Make your baits using multiple dyes and then mix them so that you combine them together and form multi coloured baits. You can easily do the same with homemade baits for flavours, different sweeteners and special extracts and protein-rich substances and protein liquids and so on, so that for example a third of each of your baits has a different flavour or even nutritional profile and palatability!

Try making baits with a really high level of coarse materials, such as precooked seeds and grains of more unusual kinds and in larger sizes. For instance, wheat cooked in Minamino, then added to your bait mix, or whole hemp soaked in liquid proteins, spice oleoresins etc then added to your boilie base mix. (A boilie base mix is the dry powders, meals etc, that you will add to your liquids to form dough or paste bait.)

If you heat up your baits by boiling, use totally chemical free water, such as mineral water, or at the very least, filtered water.

If boiling your baits remember you will actually lose a very significant part of the feeding stimulation and attraction of your baits into the boiling water so it is lost from baits prematurely; for this reason spike your water with added water soluble substances, such as yeast extract, hydrolysed protein complexes and enhancers and sweeteners etc.

These might even be honey, smooth peanut butter, jam or marmalade, curry source, crab paste, tomato puree, liquidised fruits or liquidised liver; look into why you are doing this and why you are choosing these substances (see my ebooks!)

Remember carp are dynamically learning all the time from everything anglers condition them to be and do and avoid by bad experiences; so be different from the trendy boys on your lake even if they are catching fish; it is an illusion because you can beat them at their own game by being totally different I assure you!

Try impregnating boilies or pastes with different pellets with the freshest and best quality pellets you can source. For example try Carpfishingpellets, and CC Moore; adding these will seriously multiply the various great incentives your fish have for taking your baits compared to other competing baits!

When fishing never over-look the advantage of fishing over combinations of boilies instead of just one recipe. Fish are individuals and each has their own unique sensitivities to tastes, smells and nutritional needs at any point in time etc, plus some are far more wary than others; so think about this and other related individual factors fish as individuals have so you at last catch that rarely caught monster in your water OK!

Make your baits alive! You can make your baits very seriously potent in terms of bioactivity and the impacts of substances in your baits on not merely carp senses acting on them at multiple levels simultaneously, but also you can provide extremely powerful incentives for fish to keep on repeatedly consuming your baits again and again!

Making baits that are genuinely addictive and habit-forming cumulatively and even instantly is no myth. So discover how it is truly done, and how to keep ahead of fish when they get warier; such secrets require a certain level of understanding that anyone can acquire by some reading of my secrets ebooks.

Why use boilies when you can air dry paste as free baits and use scalded paste hook baits; this is far more efficient and effective so use this OK!

If you must boil or steam your baits then replace some of the surface feed triggering and attraction factors in your baits by dusting them as they cool off with certain water-soluble substances (refer to my biography!)

If you are dependant upon readymade baits that is just not necessary; readymade bait bosses learnt their craft in their sheds and on their kitchen tables and so can you! So save yourself loads of money by doing this and improve your understanding of bait and multiply your catches big-time!

Avoid wasting time making round boilies! Most boilies are rounded whether uniformly machine rolled round baits, pressed baits, or chopped pellets or cylinders or barrels. With the modern methods of bait delivery via spod rockets and ground bait launchers and bait boats and all the rest you do not need to make round boilies ever again (and using totally uniquely-shaped baits will catch you far mare big fish!)

If you use readymade baits that the masses can get hold of then create your own bait edges. For instance soak into them a homemade combination of a homemade flavoured oil, flavour, enhancer, sweetener and liquid protein complex, (see down for such secrets and details.)

Try making baits that dissolve very fast indeed, and that leave a deposit of larger particles of crushed nuts, seeds, coarse kelp, soaked insects, pellets and other fragments scattered on the bottom and suspended in the water column to seriously excite and trigger your fish into getting hooked on your hook baits!

Here is a great question about boilies: How many anglers have tested over a long period of time fishing over free bait boilies that are totally a mixture of carefully designed and selected bait mixes? This refers to different recipes, varied nutritional profiles, mixed sizes, colours and flavours, and are composed of dramatically different shapes, textures, buoyancies, densities, solubilities and hardnesses (do yourself a big favour and do it!)

I always laugh when people in magazines go on about chopped boilies. I mean chopped boilies are already boiled or steamed and rolled into pretty shapes (what an expensive waste! Prepare your own boilie mixes, make them into dough. Roll the dough flat and roughly chop really fast into odd shapes and odd sizes. Then heat them or air-dry them and mix your various finished baits together for really awesome unique bait impacts, properties and impacts on fish that are extremely competitive compared to standard readymade baits and takes no time to make with such little effort at all!

You can very easily make extremely potent productive baits without any bait gun, bait rolling and rolling tables; these are a total waste of time in my opinion; why make baits that replicate characteristics of rounded, dense commercial baits that fish find all to easy to avoid getting hooked on?

Always remember that being different and preferably always being unique in your baits and personal approach, and tactics and most of all your thinking, is your greatest fishing edge!

A new bivvy, or a new set of rods, reels or alarms will not do this for you! So do yourself a totally massive favour and really think about what makes your fish harder to catch. Most usually it is your own thinking about the fish, their behaviours and changes and adaptations to your fishing pressure and the baits modes of action and impacts inside fish and the fishing methods you use and so on.

But think about this; even more commonly the greatest barrier to you catching the maximum numbers of fish possible is most usually your own lack of thinking! But you have all the power you need between your ears if you use it creatively and with imagination. Gaining the really big picture about how and why your baits actually work to defeat fish defensive behaviours and instinctive caution is such a giant advantage over 95 percent of anglers you will ever fish against!

Only people who do not seriously know about bait dismiss having credible bait and fish knowledge as a factor of secondary importance, because with it you can dictate fish behaviours, train fish responses and tastes and preferences and even condition their locations, travelling routes and to a degree feeding times and much more to ensure you catch the fish of your dreams instead of just dreaming on and hoping like the vast majority do!

Knowing how to create unique incredibly powerful fish-feeding opportunities for yourself, means you will never again be sitting behind your rods with no clue and thinking you need to change to yet another line or brand of readymade bait! Revealed in my unique readymade bait and homemade bait carp and catfish bait secrets ebooks is far more powerful information.
