5th Annual Carp Fishing Holiday 07 Manicure Lake Day 10 Pt2

So finally, here we are at the end of my 5th Annual Carp Fishing Holiday. A pukka holiday, no doubt about that! I have enjoyed every moment. It’s now the early afternoon as Mr Martin bids me farewell and leaves me to carry on trying for one last carp. The noise of the day has started to die down and carp are now moving around the lake. After spending a few hours in the bay I decide to try and squeeze one last carp from the swim where it all began, 10 long days ago. For more information visit www.thecarpcatcher.co.uk

5th Annual Carp Fishing Holiday 2007 – Manicure Lake – Day 1

It’s the first day of my 5th annual fishing holiday. Normally I would be at the ‘pack’ ‘bivvied up’ but this year it’s to be spent doing day sessions at a ‘dawn till dusk’ day ticket water that has a few fat ones in it. Last year I slayed them but this year I am two months early and for the first time it has been fished all year round. Has it all changed? The Members Log book makes grim reading. The last day of my annual fishing holiday (part 1) and it is the hottest so far, add to that crowds of day ticket anglers making loads of noise then you know the fishing is going to be hard. A thick head from over exposure to alcohol the night before ensures a very late start. Mr Martin has been fishing since 7 am and has already lost a good fish. Bacon sarnies and the hair that bit the dog is the order of the day. for more information viist www.thecarpcatcher.co.uk
