Homemade Carp Fishing Bait Secrets Of Winter Success Revealed!

If you are like most anglers who complain about how hard winter fishing is then remember that much of your lack of success is not anything other than your bait not working at 100 percent in cold temperatures because 95 percent of boilies are totally inefficient in low temperatures! But you have the power to change this! Have your eyes opened right now and multiply your winter catches hugely by reading on right now!

This point about catching fish just in winter but at any time of year is so vitally important yet the vast majority of baits do not seriously take this into account! Baits such as boilies work only as well as the substances within them can join the water column and disperse in as high suitable concentrations as possible to stimulate changes in fish behaviours that lead to feeding!

Water is denser in low temperatures and this means that substances from your bait not only leach out of baits far less, but disperse far less efficiently. For this reason a huge proportion of the potential of your baits attraction and stimulation is simply never going to even be detected by fish at all! Cold water baits and their component substances absolutely need to be chosen for maximum cold water effectiveness so that baits leach out these substances in maximized concentrations that are totally guaranteed to disperse a widely in the water column as possible to stimulate and draw fish to your baits!

If you put an orange into water what gives out more juice; an orange that has its skin on, or an orange that has been peeled and had some segments punctuated? Obviously the orange with the skin on is hardly going to release anything even though it contains the same levels of attraction as the peeled orange. My point here is that any bait that is heated that contains coagulated proteins is going to act like the orange with the skin on it.

Heated coagulated protein is the most significant enemy to you catching carp using boilies in winter, and very many heated and extruded pellets are also equally as handicapped because of this and very seriously under-maximized. You get the point right? Just because no-one has come out and stated this incredibly important point before does not mean it is not massively valid to everyone using heated boilies and I do mean anyone!

Why on earth use baits (usually heated readymade baits) that only work at maybe 25 percent effectiveness in cold water (if you are lucky) simply because they are heated. And why do the majority of anglers use boilies in winter? The answer is mass ignorance, because the bait industry wants to sell boilies because that is what they are set up to do and because that is what anglers expect to use. It is an insane loop of inefficiency.

Just how many anglers realize that you can make hard pastes that leak incredible concentrations of soluble substances that no boilie can ever achieve! You can make paste baits that actually leak off a massive proportion of their soluble substances while leaving behind a matrix of less soluble substances that remain hard enough and intact enough to give fish something to pick up along with your hook!

The vast percentage of anglers fishing in winter are their own worst enemies because they simply do not get it; bait substances stimulate fish and when they cannot enter the water column in maximized levels of concentrations in denser cold water then you are wasting horrific amount of time!

If you want to catch more fish in low water temperatures, do not bother buying readymade boilies and pop-up baits that have been boiled! Do not bother taking the surface skin off them. Do not bother soaking boilie or heated baits in dips, glugs or soaks. You are still using an orange with the skin on because heated baits are coagulated and sealed through the massive proportion of the matrix of the bait no matter how loose textured that bait may be it is seriously under-maximized for cold water!

Anglers who use maggots in winter will know that after the initial burst of ammonia has been excreted by shocked maggots entering the water column, the only significant thing left to attract fish is movement sounds and vibrations. But even then, after a period of immersion maggots metabolism slows and then maggots can then be not much better than using a plastic maggot with zero natural chemical stimulation or attraction whatever.

Maggots can be out-fished by use of various reactive substances within highly soluble paste baits because such baits are actively dispersing attraction well beyond the period maggots have lost any significant chemical attraction and movement!

The mistake that anglers over decades have made in winter is use boilies that are too large for the appetite of old water fish. When I say that I mean the vast majority of carp anglers over the past 30 years at least have used heat coagulated under-maximized baits of over 8 to10 millimeters; think about it and test bait sizes your self! Using a quarter of a large boilie is going to be far more effective than using a whole boilie, but if it is a boilie then you have still lost a massive proportion of possible stimulation and attraction not dispersing into the water column!

If you are brainwashed by the advertorial magazine articles enough to think that a dumbbell boilie is any better than round boilies now that carp are so well aware of them do yourself a favour if you really want to catch more fish! Think about it! An oddly-cut third of dumbbell bait will work far better than a whole bait for so many reasons. Wary fish sort baits to the degree of blowing whole intact baits out of the way of free feed small pellets and bait fragments and chopped bits of baits.

This point is so incredibly profound and powerful yet the bait industry keeps making out that boilies are so wonderful for winter and nutritionally optimized for limiting amino acids and digestion potential etc all the while they are sealed and massively under-optimized by heated proteins. Such baits sit intact and fish easily sort out which baits are whole, which baits are fresh and dangerous, which baits are soft and washed out and safe, and so on.

What do you think is more likely to fool an extremely wary fish, a half a boilie that does not give when mouthed or a paste bait that actually changes it shape when mouthed? Anglers dominant use of whole boilies (and related cylinder shaped heated pellets) train fish to be scared of whole round and dumbbell baits whether sinking baits, balanced baits or pop-up baits; fact!

If you make your own homemade baits do yourself a tremendous favour; avoid heating your baits completely! Believe it or not paste or dough is certainly not necessarily all the same. In fact you can make past baits that last as long as boilies but the difference is that these water soluble baits actually release their components in a maximized way instead of being sealed by any coagulated heat damaged proteins which in fact are a massive part of effective baits nutritional stimulation.

I have been testing and researching baits full time for the past 6 years and in no case have ever found a readymade boilie (from any company) or any homemade boilie recipe (even if trimmed and soaked) that can out-fish paste that is designed and optimized for maximum leakage of stimulatory substances in maximum concentrations! Fly Rod Reviews: What your looking for when buying one

I looked at lots of fly rod reviews and my favorite rod is a St. Croix, Avid, 8’6″ 4 weight, 2 piece. When talking about fly rods the first name is the manufacturer and what series the rod is. From there is the length of the rod, the line weight and how many pieces it breaks into. The rod I have is made by St.Croix, it is from the Avid series and is 8 foot 6 inches long. This rod is made for a 4 weight line and is has two pieces 4′ 3″ long.

HOMEMADE CARP BOILIE MAKING SECRETS and Recipes for Big Fish Success!

Making homemade boilies for really outstanding big fishing success is far more than just about mere recipes, ingredients or flavours etc. Carp boilies are made by commercial bait makers and homemade bait makers alike, but the best baits are head and shoulders above the rest; so find out how to make them now!

The best baits are all about gaining the bigger picture and understanding what works best and knowing why this is, so you can maximise this knowledge to maximum effect every time you go fishing, and exploit it at every opportunity. You can even create your very own amazing big fish catching opportunities to keep ahead of the crowd. So read on now for details for beginners and more seasoned bait makers alike. These top tips, and practical insights born of hard experiences will make a genuinely big difference to your catches!

Make your boilies without using eggs and use other forms of protein-rich ingredients and additives that do not seal baits so much that they are massively reduced in their potential effectiveness and truly work from the centre outwards!

Make your boilies without boiling them and steam them fast instead. For example only steam them for just 20 seconds. Or alternatively you can design your boilies so they are resilient baits, but used and applied with the absolute minimum of heating!

Make your boilies with no heating whatsoever so they last up to 20 hours or more intact, without being sealed by any heating coagulation of protein-rich ingredients and additives etc! Although these baits might appear as pastes, they will last like boilies and this is a key skill area that I have developed and value hugely in my own homemade bait-making and fishing approaches!

Make your baits with different and unique materials to those that your fish are used to! (In part note that this means avoid simply copying your celebrity heroes from the magazines and actually thinking for yourself more and more so you come to regard them as no better than anyone else!)

Use bait materials that offer different nutrition and bioactive factors to what fish are offered by the majority of anglers on your water.

If there is a currently dominant boilie on your water think about the reason that this is so! Consider the fact that essential nutritional requirements and bait taste specifics and very many bioactive and other factors in homemade baits of your own design can be harnessed in your own unique baits to out-fish the masses on the popular commercial baits; buck the trend and be a trend-setter for a change and be different!

Make sure your baits are unique in the way that fish experience them in multiple ways through all their sensory systems and more familiar and more obvious fish senses. Homemade baits can easily out-fish popular readymade baits just due to being unique and different when designed with thought.

Try making homemade baits that have unusual surface textures and internal textures that readymade baits rolled and pressed by machine cannot produce!

Make unusual oddly-shaped baits that commercial bait machines cannot produce!

Source additives, enhancers, extracts, ingredients, liquids and so on that you know will never have been experienced by your fish ever before. This is far easier than you might think if you just give it a go!

Try making your boilies and pellets of multiple different sizes.

Try making your baits different colours and shades!

Try combining mixing 2 bait recipes in dough form together just prior to forming your baits to break up the outline and shape of your baits visually.

Try making baits that do not have common colouration, such as black or green or grey or blue, instead of the brown, red, pink, orange, yellow and white and even purple colours and shades etc that wary fish are so used to avoiding these days!

Make your baits using multiple dyes and then mix them so that you combine them together and form multi coloured baits. You can easily do the same with homemade baits for flavours, different sweeteners and special extracts and protein-rich substances and protein liquids and so on, so that for example a third of each of your baits has a different flavour or even nutritional profile and palatability!

Try making baits with a really high level of coarse materials, such as precooked seeds and grains of more unusual kinds and in larger sizes. For instance, wheat cooked in Minamino, then added to your bait mix, or whole hemp soaked in liquid proteins, spice oleoresins etc then added to your boilie base mix. (A boilie base mix is the dry powders, meals etc, that you will add to your liquids to form dough or paste bait.)

If you heat up your baits by boiling, use totally chemical free water, such as mineral water, or at the very least, filtered water.

If boiling your baits remember you will actually lose a very significant part of the feeding stimulation and attraction of your baits into the boiling water so it is lost from baits prematurely; for this reason spike your water with added water soluble substances, such as yeast extract, hydrolysed protein complexes and enhancers and sweeteners etc.

These might even be honey, smooth peanut butter, jam or marmalade, curry source, crab paste, tomato puree, liquidised fruits or liquidised liver; look into why you are doing this and why you are choosing these substances (see my ebooks!)

Remember carp are dynamically learning all the time from everything anglers condition them to be and do and avoid by bad experiences; so be different from the trendy boys on your lake even if they are catching fish; it is an illusion because you can beat them at their own game by being totally different I assure you!

Try impregnating boilies or pastes with different pellets with the freshest and best quality pellets you can source. For example try Carpfishingpellets, and CC Moore; adding these will seriously multiply the various great incentives your fish have for taking your baits compared to other competing baits!

When fishing never over-look the advantage of fishing over combinations of boilies instead of just one recipe. Fish are individuals and each has their own unique sensitivities to tastes, smells and nutritional needs at any point in time etc, plus some are far more wary than others; so think about this and other related individual factors fish as individuals have so you at last catch that rarely caught monster in your water OK!

Make your baits alive! You can make your baits very seriously potent in terms of bioactivity and the impacts of substances in your baits on not merely carp senses acting on them at multiple levels simultaneously, but also you can provide extremely powerful incentives for fish to keep on repeatedly consuming your baits again and again!

Making baits that are genuinely addictive and habit-forming cumulatively and even instantly is no myth. So discover how it is truly done, and how to keep ahead of fish when they get warier; such secrets require a certain level of understanding that anyone can acquire by some reading of my secrets ebooks.

Why use boilies when you can air dry paste as free baits and use scalded paste hook baits; this is far more efficient and effective so use this OK!

If you must boil or steam your baits then replace some of the surface feed triggering and attraction factors in your baits by dusting them as they cool off with certain water-soluble substances (refer to my biography!)

If you are dependant upon readymade baits that is just not necessary; readymade bait bosses learnt their craft in their sheds and on their kitchen tables and so can you! So save yourself loads of money by doing this and improve your understanding of bait and multiply your catches big-time!

Avoid wasting time making round boilies! Most boilies are rounded whether uniformly machine rolled round baits, pressed baits, or chopped pellets or cylinders or barrels. With the modern methods of bait delivery via spod rockets and ground bait launchers and bait boats and all the rest you do not need to make round boilies ever again (and using totally uniquely-shaped baits will catch you far mare big fish!)

If you use readymade baits that the masses can get hold of then create your own bait edges. For instance soak into them a homemade combination of a homemade flavoured oil, flavour, enhancer, sweetener and liquid protein complex, (see down for such secrets and details.)

Try making baits that dissolve very fast indeed, and that leave a deposit of larger particles of crushed nuts, seeds, coarse kelp, soaked insects, pellets and other fragments scattered on the bottom and suspended in the water column to seriously excite and trigger your fish into getting hooked on your hook baits!

Here is a great question about boilies: How many anglers have tested over a long period of time fishing over free bait boilies that are totally a mixture of carefully designed and selected bait mixes? This refers to different recipes, varied nutritional profiles, mixed sizes, colours and flavours, and are composed of dramatically different shapes, textures, buoyancies, densities, solubilities and hardnesses (do yourself a big favour and do it!)

I always laugh when people in magazines go on about chopped boilies. I mean chopped boilies are already boiled or steamed and rolled into pretty shapes (what an expensive waste! Prepare your own boilie mixes, make them into dough. Roll the dough flat and roughly chop really fast into odd shapes and odd sizes. Then heat them or air-dry them and mix your various finished baits together for really awesome unique bait impacts, properties and impacts on fish that are extremely competitive compared to standard readymade baits and takes no time to make with such little effort at all!

You can very easily make extremely potent productive baits without any bait gun, bait rolling and rolling tables; these are a total waste of time in my opinion; why make baits that replicate characteristics of rounded, dense commercial baits that fish find all to easy to avoid getting hooked on?

Always remember that being different and preferably always being unique in your baits and personal approach, and tactics and most of all your thinking, is your greatest fishing edge!

A new bivvy, or a new set of rods, reels or alarms will not do this for you! So do yourself a totally massive favour and really think about what makes your fish harder to catch. Most usually it is your own thinking about the fish, their behaviours and changes and adaptations to your fishing pressure and the baits modes of action and impacts inside fish and the fishing methods you use and so on.

But think about this; even more commonly the greatest barrier to you catching the maximum numbers of fish possible is most usually your own lack of thinking! But you have all the power you need between your ears if you use it creatively and with imagination. Gaining the really big picture about how and why your baits actually work to defeat fish defensive behaviours and instinctive caution is such a giant advantage over 95 percent of anglers you will ever fish against!

Only people who do not seriously know about bait dismiss having credible bait and fish knowledge as a factor of secondary importance, because with it you can dictate fish behaviours, train fish responses and tastes and preferences and even condition their locations, travelling routes and to a degree feeding times and much more to ensure you catch the fish of your dreams instead of just dreaming on and hoping like the vast majority do!

Knowing how to create unique incredibly powerful fish-feeding opportunities for yourself, means you will never again be sitting behind your rods with no clue and thinking you need to change to yet another line or brand of readymade bait! Revealed in my unique readymade bait and homemade bait carp and catfish bait secrets ebooks is far more powerful information. Look up my unique website (Baitbigfish) and see my biography below for details of my ebooks deals right now!

Carp Fishing And Bait Recipe Secrets For Big Fish Success!

Did you know you can tickle carp and make them go into a trance?! Why is this and how can such things help you catch carp? Carp can see in the near infrared and near ultraviolet ranges and are far more sensitive than the average human! Also carp hear extremely well too and they can hear sounds in overlapping frequency range to humans (which means what you hear they hear including 10 decibel bite alarms contacting your line!) Carp learn to fear due to instinctively programmed negative associations so anglers must beware of all they are doing! Now read on to discover more about fish senses and how to use them to your advantage to catch more fish!

Did you know certain carp retinal (eye) cells are sensitive to things like caffeine and other substances? I knew a young kid once who drive me nuts because all he kept saying all the time was did you know. I asked myself what he was trying to prove by doing this – he was only learning on the fast-track! Then it struck me that the biggest lesson for me here (that I had long over-looked,) was the fact that so many of us adults pretty much stop asking questions all the time – and that means we are missing out on loads of good stuff to help us catch many more fish!

For instance, why does a carp mind if you throw lots of free baits out to him but then object to you plonking a 5 ounce lead on his head – I don’t know! It seems to me he would appreciate all that free food and in response kindly jump on your hook by way of thanks. But then maybe he also does not particularly like hearing the vibration of your tight lines in the water sending out vibrations like so many wind turbines on your doorstep. Or maybe he would prefer a more musical melody coming down your fishing lines from your bite alarms set at full volume!

Maybe a Mozart or Beethoven symphony instead of a boring single note alarm sound would produce more fish bites by stimulating their mood better – who knows! This might sound too far-fetched to be true but carp can hear the vibrations of plankton and chose between areas of different concentrations of them in order to feed on them with much more energy-efficiency; carp are really sensitive creatures.

In fact if you think carp are simple rough types that like their alcohol and rough mating (a bit like many more hirsute macho-appearing beer-swilling rugby fanatics,) just remember appearances can be deceptive. Carp are renowned for biting your balls off and sucking your maggots dry without even getting hooked – they are that sensitive when playing with your baits that is!

The truth is that carp sensitivity makes certain they keep on adapting (and surviving,) and in fishing their sensitivity is their greatest strength against us (if we do not keep adapting and exploiting their sensitivity back against them!) Remember that we sensitise them when we condition them in every way by actually being there on the bank and fishing for them!

We humans as long-lost descendants of ancient teleost fish such as carp still have strange habits and behaviours from the past that help us adapt or fit in faster; so giving us better chances of survival. Here is a strange thing; how is it this possible: The very first utterances that a deaf human baby ever speaks can have the local accent of its mother. Is the liquid environment of the womb significant here in pre-learning before birth?! Of course larval stages of all kinds of creatures do things that only instincts and genetics appear to explain! What do crustacean larvae do in respect of tides, what do baby fish immediately do when hatching out of spawn and what stimulates such behaviours anyway?

Now just because you can see a fish and he seems quite happy and contented it does not mean he had not noticed you creeping along the bank in your Realtree one piece sniper outfit. A carp can see into near infrared so when at the surface or slightly out of the water do you think there is half a chance your own body heat will give you away like you were dressed like a luminescent Ronald MacDonald?! Mr Carp in all likelihood would know all about you in ways you have no conception of and that science has yet to discover.

We like carp are over 95 percent water. Good clean water is getting more difficult to find and even water from reservoirs still needs reverse osmosis treatment and subtle energy treatment to make it far less tainted; the average home water filter is just an inadequate joke. Adult carp take a lot of punishment and can even survive in quite low oxygen conditions and can thrive despite certain pH and salinity conditions, but even they have their limits! We humans are creating carp fisheries but our consumption is gradually poisoning waterways one way or another.

Remember we are what we eat and drink as are carp. The water quality of so many carp fisheries is a very big problem when hot conditions occur and this is something every carp angler needs to investigate to reveal to themselves the reasons why this is. All this can help you make better catches, make better baits and improve conditions for carp and improve our own personal health; carp nutrition is a great teacher of what is great for humans to consume also – so take note!

Now science is arrogant enough to think it knows so much for certain, and yet it does not know what came first – the chicken or the egg. Did a bigger human brain and the ability to walk and talk or make tools come first? Does our ancient reptilian brain used in fight or flight mean we were originally like reptiles, mammal or chickens anyway mammals were present on the scene before dinosaurs appeared and crocodiles were there before dinosaurs too!

There is evidence that some dinosaurs had feathers because that helped energy efficiency, but of course there is no point carp having feathers because they are cold-blooded and are the same as the temperature of the water they live in but a winged and feathered big carp would probably give a really good fight in the water (and in the air too!) See more on chicken in carp baits and their digestible protein later.

In regards to carp, chickens, humans and dinosaurs, maybe things evolved this way: The carp originally hatched amphibious mutant humans and chickens simultaneously (which kind of solves the chicken and the egg conundrum and probably explains why some dinosaurs and mammals went back into the water!) Then the chickens and humans discovered chocolate, coffee, vanilla, coke and chilli, and this mixture dwarfed the chickens and made them flightless, and made the humans high so they grew upright and tall and let us see the lions coming (and thus we became the king of the jungle.)

Then during a freak forest fire in the first rudimentary herb and spice garden (near a salt mine,) the humans discovered the recipe for Kentucky Fried Chicken which they were addicted to and so began to farm chickens (organically of course.) Then one day while the chickens were playing their favourite game of (you guessed it – chicken,) they hooked up a worm on a stick and a human found the stick, tripped up in a pond and hooked a carp that went for the worm – easy! Thus began traditional carp fishing without bows, arrows (or dynamite) approximately 450 million years ago give or take a week or two and thus the concept of fast food (though limited) it being fried, rare or live on a stick.

But now back to chickens; as you will see there is more to them in regards to carp and us that meets the eye! Science reckons (using the currently known genome,) that chicken DNA represents the closest match to the dinosaur Tyrannosaurus Rex. (Saying that T. Rex is the king dinosaur was a bit premature as in fact, he had bigger competition that looked very similar to him at different stages during dinosaur times so he was not the king at all. But science is not that exact really knowing only what it knows at any moment in time! Note; this applies to future carp bait developments too and the application of new technology and the potential to find new substances – maybe in the jungles of South America before they all get cleared to grow trendy soya beans, biofuels and coke!

Maybe chickens really are T.Rex in disguise and they are all just playing dumb to lull us humans into a false sense of security while we all laugh at all those why did the chicken cross the road jokes!

How about this; the majority of boilies and paste baits in carp fishing world-wide are based on the proteinous benefits and characteristics of common but humble chicken eggs! What does this tell you about the real power of chicken – because he gets everywhere! (Egg-bound boilies are the number one carp fishing bait right around the world!) Now chickens are produced to a great degree from special mutant stocks that make them lean mean thick legged big breasted roasting machines. Purely judging by the billions of chickens produced around the world every year, maybe T.Rex is on his way back and is intent on world domination again!

No kidding; did you know that probably the most viable successful sustainable (for now) protein products used in fish farming (instead of or to supplement fish meals, soya and maize protein,) is poultry protein meal. Chickens get everywhere; from China to South America in markets and fast food joints and get this; you are what you eat! (How things go full circle!) Added to this, chickens have indirectly created unrest, anarchy, mayhem, civil and world wars using their infamous battle cry of who are you calling chicken (humans love to mimic animals right!)

But seriously, you would think by now that the average intelligence male human being would have figured out that actually a chicken is not a chicken at all thus negating any suggestion of a man lacking testosterone fuelled abilities being a chicken. After all, chicken fights (or cock fights if you prefer,) have not been banned in so many countries just because chickens fight each other by tapping each other over the head with feather dusters (they are T. Rex dinosaurs in disguise right!)

Nutritionally-speaking it is reckoned that for all the effort you put into buying and drinking expensive high protein body-building powders based on whey protein concentrates (for all those lactose intolerant, fart-thumping, boob-blooming body-builders out there,) you might as well snack on chickens to get those big muscles you always dreamt of. (To get muscles like Arnold you will be needing steroids but maybe Paxo Super Booster (chicken gravy) will do instead!)

And what about the birds and the bees – what about those attractive birds guys are always calling babes and chicks?! Have you ever noticed the body language similarities between a guy on the pull in a club or at a bar, and a cockerel strutting his stuff with the hens (hilarious stuff or what?!)

Anyway, did you know that dead (chicken) chicks are proven catfish baits for leviathans? Those dead days-old chicks hook the monsters like a jumbo sized pellet never has; like I say, chicken is supreme! I promised you recipes so alongside your liver or fish meal or yeast or braised monkey nut ingredients, try adding keratin and poultry protein meal. Anyway, take your average white or brown fish meals; in a fight with Mr Chicken only the fighting fish tag team partnered with flying fish would stand half a chance! OK so it sounds like I am over-selling this chicken stuff but as fish stocks are terminally declining and English is not a chickens first language (or second language) they deserve a spokesperson!

In the UK chicken boilies etc have been plugged in the media so much by now. Maybe now carp anglers should all jump onto the Dynamite Bait bandwagon and just accept that chicken boilies have had their day, been fashionable and currently tuna is the new boy on the block?! (Note all those poor old halibut pellets that are floundering on the sidelines at the backs of fishing bait shelves now -ah how fickle fishing fashion is!) Do you see how much your perceptions of what is a successful carp bait are really in your own mind and not all based in objective reality?! And does this mean that carp sensitivities to your bait substances have anything whatever to do with your bait-choosing decision-making because I hope for your sake it is because a Tutti Fruitti or spicy tuna readymade bait will not always save you from a blank; it takes the power of thought too!

And if you are an readymade bait kind of guy, and you happen to have at least half a brain cell partly active after all the brand-conditioning adverts and advertorials you probably are not even aware of,) it is obvious that the best time to get on the chicken baits is when everyone else has jumped onto the tuna or other currently fashionable baits! (Have you noticed that wary big fish tend to like baits they have not been hooked on too much recently?!) I think I will bring out my own special unique cunningly-crafted scientifically proven in real-time (from the future) range of post space-age baits based on mutton (young sheep,) just to be different but the same just to please everyone!)

If you happen to have the urge to catch more fish than your average brainwashed fashion-copying modern carp angler, maybe you have realised that making your own homemade baits (made specifically to top all those standard format readymade baits) is a great way to save yourself a fortune. Super-boosted chicken baits are an ideal example to get you those freakishly good fish captures your mates will love to hate you for! But fashion-following brainwashed carp anglers are easy to beat anyway. They are far too fixated on the flashy magazine adverts searching for exciting new stuff to think of  asking how on earth their chosen new baits might actually work (or fail) when used by the less than average angler against talented anglers.

Anyway, when you consider all the carp out there with a developed palette from chomping on chocolate, strawberry, Scopex, cranberry, crab, pineapple and chilli bait flavours etc, why would carp not accept roast chicken juices as their brand new favourite boilie flavour?! You really can obtain this genuinely great flavour from my good friend Phil at CW Baits (online.)

Finally why not tip your weighing scale balance in your favour and make your boilies and ground baits different with white meat! Why not add more sustainable and economical poultry protein type ingredients to them? Plus everyone knows cats love eating birds – and if you want a Jurassic sized carp there is no better nor obvious choice than to exploit the power of a chicken (that old dinosaur in disguise!)

In that Hitchcock horror film called The Birds, all the real stars in it were chickens painted black and made to adhere to a strict diet and exercise programme to build them up and slim them down of course! Special effects helped make their beaks and faces look more symmetrical (and the odd feathers were air-brushed out according to Hollywood standards!) But even if you choose not to believe this, just consider that your local ostrich can out-run and out-kick you and makes a meaner bigger omelette than you too; so remember whatever you do – never call him chicken!

As you can tell by now this article was produced purely for entertainment and was written from the place where the chickens end up (after crossing the road,) but for a more practical gathering of truly valuable fishing bait information you need to read on a bit for my bait secrets!
